Get it here: http://macinsearch.com/users/tobyrush/software.html - Install it on your hard disk and configure the software according to its manual (set preferences like server location etc.) - make sure you have AppleScript activated Exploring the collection database 01. Launch mp3voodoo with a double click 02. In the File Menu choose "New CollectionÉ" and create a new collection database 03. The main window appears - Left is the collection part, right the current playlist 04. To add your mp3 folders to the collection simply drag and drop them to the left side of the window 05. There are two views: The list view and the cover view - toggle between them with the icons in the top-left corner 06. Add whole album folders to the playlist by double-clicking their name or dragging them to the playlist 07. Add single files to the playlist by double-clicking or drag&drop (in list view) or clicking on the cover and choosing a title (in cover view) 08. To directly play a title or an album from the collection double-click on it while holding the command key 09. To edit album information (ID3 editor) double-click on an item while holding the option key 10. To add a cover image to a album folder simply drag a picture or image file to the folder (better choose small pictures like 170x170 or 128x128) 11. You may want to change the list view columns: In the view menu select the information to display 12. Search for titles with the quicksearch field at the top of the window or open the find window Playlist experiences 01. Add some titles to the playlist as described above 02. Change the order of titles by dragging them to another position 03. Delete selected items with the backspace key 04. Explore the "Playlist" menu for file handling and other features What's next - Explore the Preferences dialog!
